The Tri-Valley
Groundwater Management District meets regularly to discuss and make
determinations
of possible actions, regarding groundwater issues in the communities of:
Benton,
Groundwater
Sustainability Act of 2014.
Aerial Electromagnetic Survey
(AEM)
AEM aerial
surveys (helicopter) are to be conducted within portions of Mono
County for
several Days starting in November 2023. Possibly Nov. 9th-14th.
Residents may observe low flying helicopter(s) during this period of surveys.
The surveys
are being conducted in several counties within the state and are
intended to
improve the understanding of the various groundwater
basins in
California, including the Tri-Valley area.
